Abstract

Al-Quran Education Park (TPQ) has an important role in shaping character and religious understanding from an early age. However, in its implementation, it is still faced with two main problems, namely curriculum instability and declining interest of students in participating in Quran reading activities. The curriculum that has not been standardized and is not structured enough causes the learning process to be less than optimal and varies between institutions. For example, students' interest in reading the Quran has also decreased, which is mostly influenced by addiction to gadgets and the lack of an interesting learning approach. These two problems have a direct impact on the low quality of TPQ graduates, both in terms of understanding the Quran and practicing worship. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the curriculum that is focused and adaptive and interesting learning strategies so that TPQ can carry out its role effectively in forming a superior and noble Quranic generation. In this study, the researcher chose observation as the main technique for collecting information. With this technique, the results of the implementation of the TPQ curriculum run more efficiently and on target.
