Abstract

The problem that the Pocol Village Community faces, namely the lack of awareness among residents regarding cleanliness, is characterized by the lack of available trash bins for trash around the neighborhood, on the side of the road and for storing household waste. In this case, the environmental atmosphere becomes less clean and healthy. Trash is poorly managed so that it is scattered on the side of the road and in residents' yards. The implementation of organic and inorganic waste management aims to improve environmental cleanliness through environmentally friendly waste management and community independence. The method used is descriptive qualitative, planning with the help of SWOT analysis to find out the condition of Pocol Village, action where we are facilitators and we carry out small demonstrations as a pilot project, observation as a continuation of the SWOT analysis to solve existing problems in Pocol Village, reflection. The result of this activity is that it is able to provide encouragement to the community so that it creates awareness of throwing rubbish in the places that have been provided, creates a group of people who are aware of the importance of healthy, clean and well-maintained living behavior, then there are 3 sets of rubbish bins made from used gallon materials that can people use in everyday life.
