Abstract

Hadroh is a form of Islamic art deeply rooted in Indonesian tradition and frequently performed in various religious and social activities. This community service activity aims to establish and support a hadroh group in Dukuh Blontah, Jekawal Village, Tangen District, Sragen Regency, as an effort to preserve Islamic culture and strengthen da'wah through the medium of music. The approach used is a qualitative method with a model.Asset Based Community Development(ABCD), a community empowerment strategy that emphasizes the exploration and utilization of local potential, such as the artistic interests and talents of residents, the involvement of the younger generation, and the support of community leaders and village officials. The results of the implementation of the activities showed that the formation of the hadroh group was running well and was officially formed on April 15, 2025. During the mentoring process, the hadroh group routinely practiced five times and successfully presented its first performance at the closing recitation event of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program in the village. In addition to being a means of channeling artistic interests and talents, this hadroh group also serves as an effective da'wah medium by conveying Islamic messages through religious music that is easily accepted by various levels of society. The successful formation of this hadroh group is expected to become a strong foundation for the sustainability of hadroh arts activities in Dukuh Blontah and also help strengthen social relations in the community through joint artistic and religious activities.
