Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Warga Dusun Karanganyar Melalui Usaha Keripik Singkong Aneka Rasa
Abstract
One of the goals of this community service is to save the community from the
low economy caused by the covid-19 virus that emerged in 2020. Which resulted in many
people experiencing economic difficulties. This is caused by government regulations that
limit the movement of people. So that people cannot work normally like before Covid-19.
Therefore, training on making cassava chips with various flavors was made to the
community, as an effort to improve the people's economy, with prices and packaging that
are more affordable than selling directly or raw cassava that does not go through the
production process, the results will be minimal. The people's economy, which was said
to be quite high before the Covid-19 outbreak, was around 50%, after the Covid-19
residents' income was only 15%, this was due to restrictions on people's movement in and
out of the district and their own regions, therefore residents used cassava. With abundant
cassava yields but improper processing, training on making cassava chips was held with
the aim of developing the community's economy.
