Abstract

Making handicrafts is an alternative in reducing waste. waste management is
very important for the environment because we can see that there is a lot of scattered
garbage in the environment that causes damage to nature. This research activity aims to
increase student awareness in protecting nature and increase knowledge about art. One
of the benefits of this research activity is to reduce global warming. In this study the
quantitative methods was used, while the implementation methode used the
socialization method. the results of the research on student creativity in utilizing waste
paper as a medium of learning and knowledge can produce new works and so students
can discover new things from activities that use waste that have artisties value and can
increase studen creativity.
