MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBAHASA ANAK MELALUI METODE BERCERITA
IMPROVING CHILDREN'S LANGUAGE ABILITIES THROUGH STORYTELLING METHOD

Language skills are very important in developing a child's potential. However, there are still some children who still have difficulty in language skills, thus hindering learning activities. Therefore, the aim of this research is to apply the storytelling method to improve the language skills of elementary age children. The community service method used is in three stages. First, planning, second, implementation, third, evaluation. The results of this research indicate that the use of the storytelling method provide interesting and interesting learning proven effective in the process of improving learning activities develop language and imagination, develop speaking skills, increase concentration power as well improve language skills in communicating well with educators, students and parents.
