Abstract

This community service is motivated by the long absence of TPA activities due
to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The role of TPA is very large in strengthening
character education (religious). The purpose of this activity is to reactivate TPA activities
so that they can strengthen religious character education in early childhood. This service
is carried out using stages in the form of: 1) Consultation, which is an activity carried
out by exchanging ideas to get conclusions in the form of advice and suggestions, 2)
Mentoring, namely the service team providing assistance to reactivate TPA activities,
and 3) Evaluation. The results and findings in this service are 1) There is a strengthening
of religious (Islamic) character in Al-Hikmah TPA students, 2) Religious activity
programs can be developed as a form of strengthening character education, 3)
Habituation of carrying out religious activities carried out at Al-Hikamah TPA , is an
alternative in efforts to strengthen religious character education (Islam) for early
childhood.
