EDUKASI DAUR ULANG SAMPAH DARI PLASTIK TERHADAP SISWA USIA DASAR DI DESA PANDEAN KARANGANYAR NGAWI

Abstract

National waste production shows a trend that continues to increase along with economic growth and an increase in population. The increasing use of plastic in human life is a problem that must be solved properly, because plastic is light, practical, and economical. The purpose of this service to the community is to present knowledge and skills to make flowers from plastic. The place for the implementation of the activity is in Pandean Village, Karanganyar District, Ngawi Regency. The method used in this service to the community is to use training and practice methods with the following steps, the service team conveys material about education on recycling plastic waste, then students practice making hand skills with plastic waste (the community service team provides assistance and support to the community). Guidance to trainees. While the outcome of this community service implementation is that students get new knowledge about recycling plastic waste which is transformed into hand skills that have a ligh selling value and are able to improve the community’s economy during this pandemic.
